Culture of Pursuit | Philippians 3v1-14
The church should be a place of passion and radical pursuit. A community of people who have given up on the empty promises of money, sex, and power and help one another pursue the only hope that matters.
What does it mean to be a culture of pursuit?
- We are, first of all, taken hold of. We are caused. A Christian is caused by the radical pursuit of God’s love.
- Secondly, we result in a people of radical pursuit. We were taken hold of; therefore, we take hold. Our pursuit is the result of Christ's pursuit.
- Finally, we help one another along this radical pursuit. We can not do this alone. We need one another.
