Easter is all about freedom.
Freedom from shame, guilt, fear and pain.
Join us this Spring for a special sermon series and small group experience built upon God’s amazing grace, conversations with friends, and a personal exploration of our pain and loss. Together we will experience the miracle of how God can take broken things and make them beautiful again.
All of our Gateway Groups will journey together through a beautifully interactive guide created by Mike Foster and the People of the Second Chance. We are asking those who are able to contribute $10 to help cover the cost of the books.

4/20 A Prodigal’s Party | Easter Sunday | Luke 15v11-32
You are more loved than you could possibly know. Our gracious Father does not add conditions to his love for us. He doesn’t ask us to clean up our lives first. He simply invites us to hand over our insecurities, let go of our moralistic religion, and come home. The question is not if God is ready for us to come home. The question is: Are we ready to finally stop running and join the party?
4/27 Awareness | Hebrews 4v1-13
We live in a fast-paced, noisy world. Often the speed of life keeps us from hearing the voice of God, especially when it comes to our pain. Distraction and escapism keeps us from dealing with our spiritual brokenness. In the Bible, God established the Sabbath for this very reason. He established rest, quietness, and breaking the typical routine of life so he could reveal things to us. God wants to show us how we are held captive by our pain and how we can eventually find freedom through him.
5/4 Discovery | Romans 8v31-39
You’re stronger than you think you are. In order for us to be free we must have the courage to explore what holds us captive. We have to stop believing the lies and accept God’s truth that we are more than conquerors.
5/11 Ownership | Genesis 3v1-15
You can’t blame your way to freedom. Living as a victim is easy. Living free means I take personal responsibility for both the good and bad parts of my life. It may not be my fault, but it is my responsibility.
5/18 Forgiveness | John 8v1-11
Holding on keeps us from moving on. The journey to freedom always goes through the door of forgiveness. When we surrender our hurts and hang-ups to God, we can finally be freed from the captivity of anger, resentment, and self-condemnation.
5/25 Acceptance | Luke 19v1-10
The identity you embrace determines your freedom. Many of us let a bad decision, or a negative circumstance, or someone else define who we are. The key is to live our identity in Jesus Christ and experience the powerful freedom found in belonging to God’s family.
6/1 Freedom | Luke 10v1-21
We are rescued to become rescuers. Our freedom isn’t just for us, it is meant to be shared and given away. God has an incredible plan for your story, even the painful parts. Freedom is finding the beauty in our brokenness and discovering our purpose to change the world.
