Draw Near: An Advent Journey

“Draw Near: An Advent Journey” is a 4-week series at The Gateway Church, inviting our community to meditate on the themes of anticipation, preparation, annunciation, and incarnation. This Advent, we delve into the heart of the Christmas story, exploring how God, in His infinite love, drew near to humanity by becoming one of us. Through key passages from Isaiah and Luke, we explore the promises of the prophesied Messiah and witness the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus. As we reflect on God’s invitation to draw near to Him as Immanuel, ‘God with us,’ this series encourages a deeper understanding of the significance of Christ’s birth and an exploration of how we can draw near to God in our lives.
